And what better way to celebrate than with Asian girls in American Flags and Jintara Poonlarp (a Thai pop star from Isan) singing about the World Trade Center tragedy. In 2001 the song wasn't received so well by the West because "the reigning Morlam superstar of Thailand laments the attacks of Sept. 11 while young, bare-midriffed Thai girls gyrate in front of a surging American flag."
